| | Do You/Would You Use Headphones in the Car? | | I was driving into the office today and I saw that someone was driving in their car with their iPod earphones in their ears. It made me think, wouldn't it hinder the driver's ability to hear an emergency vehicle if one was approaching?I personally wouldn't use earphones/headphones in the car. Do you/would you? If you do, are you able to hear what is going on outside of the car? I'm just curious because when I saw this I was a little surprised that someone would have earphones on when driving. | |
| | What can you find under the cushions of your couch? | | The other day I decided it was time to do my mandatory annual sofa cushion clean up as I was looking for my wallet. I find cleaning under the cushions of the chairs in my home is like digging for treasure in a playground sandbox...after the teens go home for the night. Let's see I find a pencil, ink pen, two pennies, a quarter and a hair scrunchie. These are probably just standard issue sofa cushion items. When I dug a little deeper I found a Matchbox race car, a set of ipod earphones, a discount card for a local grocery store and a bent Philip's head screwdriver. No big deal, everyone keeps screwdrivers under the cushions of their couch. It was now time to check the "Love Seat". Let's see, a half of "Chips Ahoy" cookie, a broken "unbreakable" comb, a lost DVD player remote, one leather glove, a clasp to what looks like could've belong to a bra and a ...condom wrapper? Now that's interesting. I really don't think I want to clean the couches in my house anymore, I'm not really sure about what could've been happening in the family room of the house, but based on what I found it looks like it was a set of props used in making a cheap porno film.Have you cleaned under... | |
